Therapy web design · North America

Therapy websites built to turn visitors into booked consults.

Most web designers hand you a pretty site and wish you luck. I build sites engineered around one job: getting the right clients to book. Beautiful, fast, and designed to convert from the first scroll.

Your website is the bottleneck,
and you probably already know it.

You've invested in a practice. Traffic is coming in — from referrals, search, directories, maybe ads — but the booking calendar isn't filling the way it should. When you look at your analytics, most visitors land on the homepage, scroll for eleven seconds, and leave without ever reaching a booking page.

That isn't a traffic problem. It's a site problem. Therapy websites built by general web designers almost always suffer from the same things: vague copy that could apply to any practice, a generic "Contact Us" form that creates friction, no dedicated page per modality or clinician, and a booking link buried three clicks deep. The people who need your help bounce before they ever see what makes your practice different.

A website built around one question:
what does this visitor need to do next?

Every page I build for a therapy practice is designed around a conversion path. Someone searching for EMDR in your city lands on an EMDR-specific page, sees a therapist who actually offers it, reads copy that answers their real questions about the modality, and books a consult with that clinician in two clicks. No homepage scroll-fest. No wondering whether they're in the right place.

That's the difference between a website and a booking engine. And it's the difference between a site that looks good and a site that actually earns its keep.

01

Engineered to convert

Every section, every CTA, every paragraph is written and placed to move a visitor one step closer to booking. No filler. No generic hero stock photography.

02

Modality-specific pages

Dedicated pages for each service you offer — EMDR, trauma, ADHD, couples, grief — with copy written to match what people are actually searching for.

03

Frictionless booking paths

Direct links to the right service and clinician. No choice paralysis. No "which one am I supposed to click?" friction at the finish line.

What a rebuild actually looks like.

Four side-by-side comparisons showing the difference a conversion-focused redesign makes. Each one is a concept mockup built from the ground up — better flow, benefit-driven messaging, and a design that feels as welcoming as the care you provide. Click any comparison to explore the live mockup.

Transparent scope. Fixed pricing.

Two build options depending on whether you want to self-manage content or prioritize speed and simplicity. Both include the full conversion-focused structure.

Pricing in CADUS clients save on exchange

A meaningful saving for American practices.

At current exchange rates, a $2,500 CAD static build starts at roughly $1,800 USD. A $3,250 CAD WordPress build starts at roughly $2,375 USD. Same design standard, same level of care — noticeably lower cost than comparable US-based therapy web designers.

Honest about fit. It saves us both time.

I'm not the right fit for every practice, and I'd rather tell you that up front than waste your time. Here's who I work with best, and who I don't.

This is a fit if you are…

  • A counselling or psychology practice in Canada or the United States
  • Solo or multi-practitioner (both work, multi-practitioner tends to see stronger ROI)
  • Treating your website as an investment in client acquisition
  • Ready to invest at least $2,500 CAD in the build
  • Open to a 2 to 4-week design and build timeline

This probably isn't a fit if…

  • Your budget is under $2,000 CAD for the site
  • You need a site launched in under two weeks
  • You want a template-based Squarespace build (I'd recommend DIY instead)
  • You need extensive custom web application functionality
  • You're looking for the cheapest option, not the best fit
Jordan Caron, founder of Marketing Well

I'm Jordan Caron, and I've built
websites since 2012.

Marketing Well is a digital marketing agency based on Salt Spring Island, BC, specialized in one niche: counselling and therapy practices across North America. In 2022, I narrowed my focus to this industry specifically, and I've been building sites, writing copy, and running marketing for psychology clinics from Victoria to Toronto, and from California to New York, ever since.

That focus matters. I already know the regulatory constraints around therapy marketing. I know which modalities attract which kinds of searches. I know why a dedicated intake coordinator converts better than a generic contact form, and I know the exact tweaks to a booking link that can double appointment rates. You're not paying me to learn your industry on your dime.

Frequently asked questions.

How much does a new website cost?

Most therapy websites fall in the $2,500 to $4,000 CAD range, depending on the number of pages, complexity, and functionality needed. US clients benefit from the exchange rate, with builds landing closer to $1,800 to $2,900 USD.

How long will it take to design and build my website?

Depending on the functions, number of pages, and whether you're providing text and photos, most websites can be completed within 2 to 4 weeks.

Will the website be mobile-friendly?

Yes. All websites are fully responsive and mobile-friendly. This is the first priority on every build, since roughly 70% of website visits come from mobile devices.

Do you build custom websites or use templates?

Custom only. Every site is designed from scratch around your practice, your clinicians, and the clients you want to attract. No shared layouts, no template packs.

What platform do you build on?

I build websites (including the one you're reading) in clean static HTML or on WordPress using the Elementor page builder. Both options are discussed on the discovery call so you can pick what fits your team.

Do you handle hosting and domain setup?

I don't offer web hosting directly, but I have a list of reliable web hosts I can recommend based on your build type and budget.

Will my website be SEO-friendly?

Yes. Every site is built with clean code, fast load speeds, proper heading structure, optimized meta tags, and keyword-focused page architecture. A well-built site is the foundation of effective SEO.

Do I own the website?

Yes, completely. The site is yours, hosted on your own account, with no lock-in. You can take it to any developer if you ever decide to move on.

What are your payment terms?

50% up front to kick off the project, and the remaining 50% when your new site is live and launched exactly the way you want it. That way we're aligned and I'm accountable for getting you across the finish line.

Do you work with US therapy practices?

Absolutely. I work with counselling and psychology practices across North America. My rates are in Canadian Dollars, which typically means meaningful savings for US clients compared to equivalent US-based therapy web designers.
