Overview

Dawn Taylor first came to us in 2024 to launch Google Ads for her growing practice. At the time, she was running a small two-person operation. Today, the practice has expanded to six counsellors — a testament to the growth she’s experienced since getting started.

The journey hasn’t been without its challenges. For nearly a year, a tracking issue on her GoDaddy website meant her campaign wasn’t fully capturing lead data. When Dawn and I reconnected last summer, we took a fresh look at the campaign and resolved the tracking gap by setting up a goal in Google Analytics to monitor appointments booked directly through JaneApp.

With accurate tracking now in place, the results speak for themselves.

Strategy

Targeting

We targeted people within a 15 KM area around Montreal. Our landing pages stated clearly that Darren is a Montreal based Registered Clinical Psychologist offering online sessions.

Adgroups & Keywords

From there, I set up 5 adgroups targeting groupings of keywords related to:

| EMDR | teen | family | ADHD | |counselling/threapy

Four of those adgroups target specific areas of mental health issues, while the is targeting people searching for therapy or counselling services.

Tracking

As I mentioned, we weren’t able to fully track the true success of this campaign until last June, when we began tracking JaneApp appointments booked.
